Viktor Emmerig

Viktor Emmerig (born June 28, 1883 in Lauingen ; † May 26, 1951 ) was a German homeland researcher .

Emmerig came to the Pestalozzi School in the Freimann district of Munich as principal . Here he worked extensively on the local history of Freimann. When he died in 1951, he left the city with an extensive collection of coats of arms, pictures and dolls.

In 1966, the city of Munich named a route to Emmerig in Freimann, in memory of its local history.
