Viktoria Kellersberg (officially: Sportclub Viktoria 1916 Kellersberg eV ) was a sports club from the Alsdorf district of Kellersberg in the Aachen city region . The first soccer team played for two years in the highest amateur league in the Middle Rhine region.

history

The association was founded in 1916. At the end of the 1920s, Viktoria was already playing in the then second-class 1st district class Rhine . There the team was champion of their season in 1933 and qualified for the newly created second-rate district class . In 1938 the Kellersbergers became champions there and reached the promotion round to the Gauliga Mittelrhein , where the team failed at SSV Troisdorf 05 . After the end of the Second World War , Viktoria qualified in 1947 after a 5-1 playoff win over Alemannia Lendersdorf for the newly created state league , the highest amateur league on the Middle Rhine. In the first season of 1947/48 the class could only just be held. A year later, the team reached ninth place. On June 19, 1949 Viktoria Kellersberg merged with the Alsdorfer Sportvereinigung to Viktoria Alsdorf . Viktoria, in turn, merged with Rhenania Alsdorf on June 15, 2004 to form Blau-Weiß Alsdorf .
