Vilarinho is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal . It belongs to the Vila Verde county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 1.31 km² and 406 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Vilarinho, Barros , Gomide and Sande were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Sande, Vilarinho, Barros e Gomide .
