Bengt Vilgot Larsson (born May 3, 1932 in Falun ; † December 21, 2015 ) was a Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
Vilgot Larsson spent his entire club career at Leksands IF , for whose professional team he was active from 1951 to 1964 in Division 1 , the then highest Swedish league. He then ended his career at the age of 32.
International
For Sweden , Larsson took part in the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo . He was also in his country's squad at the 1957 and 1958 World Championships . At the 1957 World Cup, he and his team won the gold medal. As the best European team, Sweden also became European champions. At the 1958 World Cup, he and his team won the bronze medal.
