Vilho Niittymaa ( Vilho Aleksander Niittymaa ; born August 19, 1896 in Yläne , † June 29, 1979 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish athlete .

At the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris, he won the silver medal in the discus throw behind the American Bud Houser and ahead of his compatriot Thomas Lieb .
