Villa Grahl

description

The under monument protection standing cottage-like villa is located between Luther Church and Wasapark . Grahl's property bordered on that of Lorenzo Riese , whose extensive villa property at the former confluence of Riesestrasse and Meißner Strasse is now overbuilt by an administrative building from GDR times.

The traufständige , storey residential building with jamb and verschiefertem saddle roof is penetrated centrally by a perpendicularly aligned to the second building, the roof ridge is slightly higher. This two-storey structure also has a gable roof, which gives the impression of a central projection with a rafter gable in the street view .

Before symmetrically arranged street view is a wooden porch stem on top with outlet, on the back of the building is a wood entrance porch. The plastered building standing on a rubble stone plinth is adorned with plaster strips, corner pilaster strips , sandstone structures with horizontal roofs and stucco ornaments.
