The Villa Hanssen in Bremerhaven - Lehe , Klushof district, Krumme Straße 18, was built in 1898 according to plans by Carl Pogge.
The building has been a listed building in Bremen since 1982 .

history

Lehe grew very rapidly from the middle of the 19th century, benefiting from the new ports in Alt-Bremerhaven ( center ).

In the period of historicism , this villa was built in 1898 in the neo-renaissance style for the client Hanssen. The single-storey house with the two-storey turret with bell dome and small lantern has been designed with many elements.

Pogge worked on several other buildings as an architect in Lehe. a. during the renovation of the Lehe Town Hall (1877), the residential and commercial buildings at Hafenstrasse 115–121 (1877) and the Villa Giese , Lange Strasse 72 (1895).
