Villa Ojo de Agua is the capital of the Ojo de Agua department in the Santiago del Estero Province in northwestern Argentina . It is located 209 kilometers from the provincial capital Santiago del Estero and is connected to it via the Ruta Nacional 9 . In the classification of the municipalities of the province, it is classified as 3rd category municipality.
