Villa Otto

The Villa Otto or the former Schwenekes private teaching institute is located in Bremen , Schwachhausen district, Bürgerpark district, Hollerallee 67 at the corner of Parkallee directly on Am Stern . The house was built in 1900 and 1915 according to plans by Friedrich Wellermann and Paul Frölich , Bremen. The building has been a listed building in Bremen since 1981

history

The two-storey house, with its gables, loggias and bay windows, was built in 1900 in the turn of the century style for the painter Wilhelm Otto (1868–1950) and for M. Sosat. The facade is characterized by the two central gables in the Swiss house style that was also common in Bremen at the time .

The important interior architecture was designed by Richard Riemerschmid , Bruno Paul and Bernhard Pankok in collaboration with the United Workshops in Munich.

Today (2018) the house is used as the office of OGIB Gewerbe-Immobilien-Verwaltungs GmbH and for other services.
