Villa Schweizerstraße 15 (Radebeul)

The villa at Schweizerstrasse 15 is located in the Niederlößnitz district of the Saxon city of Radebeul . It was built around 1870 by the Serkowitz master builders, the Ziller brothers .

description

The single - storey villa , which is a listed building with its outbuilding, is located on a corner plot of land facing Winzerstraße.

The plastered building in the Swiss style has ribbon and cornice structure , plus corner pilasters . The windows are framed by folding shutters , and the overhanging tile roof is a gable roof . On the gable ends, this is supported by a split construction that extends far forward .

In the eaves view of the street facing Schweizerstrasse there is a two-storey risalit with a rafter gable in the middle , in front of the risalit there is a single-storey wooden veranda with an exit on top.

On the gable side facing Winzerstraße there is a round arch niche with a figure in the middle of the ground floor . At the back of the house there is a low, single-storey extension, also with a gable roof, the entrance porch has a gable roof .

In 1885 a "miniature steam boiler system" was installed in the greenhouse on the property.
