Vincas Girnius
Vincas Girnius (born January 22, 1959 in Betygala , Rajongemeinde Raseiniai ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in 1977 in the Raseiniai district , he graduated in 1982 from the Faculty of Mechanization of Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1984 to 1986 he worked in the sovkhos in Bukonys ( Jonava Rajongemeinde ) and from 1986 to 1991 in Žadžiūnai . From 1992 to 1995 he was the deputy mayor of the Šiauliai district and from 1995 to 1996 mayor, from 1996 to 1997 a member of the Seimas , and in 1997 the head of the Šiauliai district .
Since 1993 he has been a member of Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai .
