Vincent Le Blanc (* around 1553 in Marseille ; † around 1633 ) was a French explorer and writer.

Life

In the course of his travels he visited or pretended to have visited the front and rear of India , Persia and Pegu , Fez , Morocco and Guinea , Africa from the Cape of Good Hope to Alexandria , the islands of the Mediterranean and the most prestigious European provinces as well as northern and eastern Europe South america . His memoirs were prepared for printing by Pierre Bergeron and finally published by Louis Coulon in Paris in 1648 and mix realities and fantastic myths into an adventurous travelogue.
