Vincenzo Albanese (born November 12, 1996 in Oliveto Citra ) is an Italian cyclist .
In 2016 Albanese won five races on the international calendar. He won the Trofeo Edil C , the Gran Premio della Liberazione , a stage of the Tour of Upper Austria , a stage of the Tour de l'Avenir , in which he also won the points , the Ruota d'Oro and, as the most important success, the Trofeo Matteotti , a competition in the first UCI category .
After this season Albanese joined the Professional Continental Team Bardiani CSF and contested his first Grand Tour with the Giro d'Italia 2017 , but could not finish the tour. At the road world championships in the same year, he was fifth in the U23 race.
