Vincenzo Coffani
Vincenzo Coffani (* 1892 in Castiglione delle Stiviere ; † 1936 ) was an Italian racing driver .
Life
Coffani, who is enthusiastic about motorsport, was a test and works driver at OM in Brescia . He was married and had two children. In 1936 he died of a tumor a few months before the birth of his second son.
Racing career
In 1924 he won the Coppa delle Alpi on OM , a 3000 km long automobile race through the Alps, and in 1925 and 1926 the Coppa Biennale for teams.
Vincenzo Coffani was 1925 team partner of Ferdinando Minoia the 24-hour race at Le Mans . Coffani and Minoia contested the race on a works - OM 665 Superba , which was canceled after a defect early in the race.
He started three times in the Mille Miglia , where his best result in the final classification was seventh in 1930 .
