Vincenzo Zarri

Vincenzo Zarri (born October 23, 1929 in Bologna ) is former bishop of Forlì-Bertinoro .

Life

Vincenzo Zarri was ordained a priest on July 25, 1952 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on May 24, 1976 auxiliary bishop in Bologna and titular bishop of Luni . The Archbishop of Bologna Antonio Cardinal Poma donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Marco Cé and Benito Cocchi , both auxiliary bishops in Bologna.

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Forlì-Bertinoro on April 9, 1988. On November 12, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement. Zarri then returned to his hometown of Bologna.
