Violanda Lanter-Koller

Violanda Lanter (born January 1, 1964 in Sissach , Switzerland ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( VU ). She has been a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament since 2013 .

biography

Growing up in Ruggell , Lanter studied law at the University of St. Gallen . In 1993 she was admitted to the bar in St. Gallen. After working as a lawyer in St. Gallen, she moved to Liechtenstein where she worked for various trust companies from 1994 to 2000. In 1996 she received the Liechtenstein citizenship.

From 1999 to 2003 she was a member of the Ruggell municipal council for the Patriotic Union . In addition, she acted as President of the Board of Directors of Liechtenstein Power Plants from 2000 to 2004 and was legal assistant to Prime Minister Klaus Tschütscher from 2005 to 2011 . In February 2013 Lanter was elected for the first time for her party in the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein. There she held the office of Vice-President of the State Parliament from 2013 to 2017. Furthermore, during this legislative period she was a member and head of the delegation in the Liechtenstein delegation to the Interparliamentary Union . In February 2017 she was re-elected to the state parliament. In the new legislative period, she will act as the parliamentary group spokeswoman for the VU parliamentary group.

Lanter is married and has two children, a son and a daughter.
