The Virjerab Glacier is located in the western Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The Virjerab glacier has a length of 40 km. It flows in a north-westerly direction through the north-east of the Hispar Muztagh mountain range . In the south of the glacier rise the mountains of Panmah Muztagh . The Virjerab glacier feeds the Shimshal , which arises at its glacier mouth. The Virjerab Glacier is framed by mountains with heights of up to 6600 m .
