Velluva Koroth Vismaya (born May 14, 1997 in Sreekandapuram , Kerala ) is an Indian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

VK Vismaya gained her first international experience at the 2018 Asian Games in the Indonesian capital Jakarta , where she won the gold medal in the Indian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 28.72 minutes ahead of Bahrain and Vietnam. The following year she won the silver medal at the Asian Championships in Doha in 3: 32.21 minutes with the relay behind the team from Bahrain, as well as with the mixed relay in 3: 16.47 minutes. With the relay, she also took part in the World Championships there at the beginning of October and retired there with the women's relay with 3: 29.42 minutes in advance, while in the mixed relay she took seventh place in the final with 3: 15.77 minutes.

In 2019 Vismaya became Indian champion in the 400-meter run.
