Vitalij Blank (born June 10, 1982 in Karaganda , Kazakh SSR ) is a German - Kazakh ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Hamburg Crocodiles in the ice hockey league since 2014 .

Career

Vitalij Blank began his career as an ice hockey player at GEC Nordhorn , for whose professional team he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1999/2000 season . After only six games he moved to league rivals EC Wilhelmshaven-Stickhausen , for whom he was active until 2001. The defender then spent two years at Adendorfer EC in the fourth-class regional league . This was followed by one year each at EV Ravensburg in the third-class league and at REV Bremerhaven in the 2nd Bundesliga. From 2005 to 2007 he played for one year each for the top division clubs 1. EV Weiden and EV Ravensburg.

Blank also started the 2007/08 season in Ravensburg, but this time in the 2nd Bundesliga. He finally ended the season with the top division Starbulls Rosenheim . In the 2008/09 season he ran for the upper division Rostocker EC . He then spent a season with the regional league team ESC Braunlage before returning to the Rostock EC for the 2010/11 season . In 2014 he moved from the Baltic Sea to the Alster, where he is now on the ice with the Hamburg Crocodiles, also in the major league.
