Vitas Matuzas
Vitas Matuzas (born July 10, 1959 in Beinorava , Radviliškis district , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of Panevėžys .
Life
After graduating from secondary school Smilgiai in 1977 , Vitas Matuzas graduated from Kauno politechnikos institutas in 1982 and became a radio engineer and radio electronics technician . From 1982 to 1989 he worked at "Ekranas" in Panevėžys. From 1997 to 2000 and from 2003 to 2008 Matuzas was mayor, and in 2000 deputy mayor of Panevėžys . From 2000 to 2003 he was a member of the Seimas .
