Vitaya
Vitaya is a Flemish television station . The station received its license in 1999 and started broadcasting on August 25, 2000. Vitaya is part of the Media ad Infinitum group.
history
Vitaya began as a special interest broadcaster with seven program blocks :

- Spiegelbeeld
- Vrije Tijd
- Wonen
- Children
- Vitali-Tijd.
In 2003, the TV station extended daily airtime in favor of more local productions, daily news, a cooking show and a fitness show.
Vitaya describes itself as a lifestyle television station and focuses on the following topics: happiness, health, food, family, garden and interior design, fashion, leisure, travel, lifestyle and human interest .
With the start of the SBS channel Vijf in October 2004 with a similar broadcast profile , the TV channel received competition. In response, the station began showing more foreign productions and consequently increased its airtime dramatically, allowing the station to grow further.
