Vitomir Rogoznica

Vitomir Rogoznica (born October 27, 1955 in Zadar , SR Croatia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former German professional footballer .

Life

“Vito” came to Germany in 1965 when he was ten . He started playing football in his new home in Bremerhaven and made it to the professional team of OSC Bremerhaven at the age of 17 . From 1973 to 1978 he played as a center forward for the OSC.

In 1978 Rogoznica moved to SV Arminia Hannover from Lower Saxony . Two years later, in 1980, he moved to his last club in his playing career.

Up to the end of his career (1984) Vito played at VfL Osnabrück , for whom he played a total of 102 games as a midfielder and scored five goals.

After his playing career, Rogoznica completed his coaching license . In 1989 he completed his training as a football teacher , u. a. with Ewald Lienen and Felix Magath . He celebrated his greatest success as a coach with the successful participation in the DFB-Pokal in 1994/95 with the soccer club Sportfreunde Oesede .
