Vivian Oparah

Vivian Oparah (born December 30, 1996 ) is a British actress , best known for her role as Tanya Adeola in the Doctor Who spin-off class .

Life

Oparah was born on December 30, 1996. She grew up in London in the Tottenham district . In 2014 Oparah studied Media, English Literature, Product Design and Biology at the Latymer School , where she also completed her A-Levels . During her A2 media course, she and other students formed the band NTLS. Their debut single and video Heart Skipped a Beat was released on Youtube. Oparah attended the Mountview Academy of Theater Arts . She later became a member of the National Youth Theater , where she completed a two-week summer course.

In 2016, Oparah got the lead role of Tanya Adeola in the BBC Three Doctor Who spin-off class . Tanya is a 14 year old girl who was promoted two grades for being so smart. Oparah later stated that she had her first audition with Class. All she knew during casting was that the show was related to the Doctor Who universe, but she couldn't imagine how big the production really was until she got the job and the show was shot.

In 2017 Oparah was at the Screen Nation Film and Television Awards as Emerging Talent (German: new talent ) mentioned. In the same year she played the house slave Minnie in the play An Octoroon at the Orange Tree Theater in Richmond .

In German, Vivian Oparah is spoken by Katrin Hess .
