Vlad Alexandru Achim (born April 7, 1989 in Constanța ) is a Romanian football player . The midfielder has been under contract with FC Viitorul Constanța since summer 2018 .
Career
society
Achim's career began in Farul Constanța's youth in his hometown. At the age of 18 he left the club in the summer of 2007 to CS Ovidiu in Liga III . In early 2008 he joined Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț , where he first played in the second team in League III. In the summer of 2008 he was promoted to the squad of the first team that played in League II at the time . He immediately became a regular player in midfield and went with his team at the end of the 2008/09 season in the Liga 1 on. After the immediate relegation in 2010 , he remained loyal to the club and managed to get promoted again at the end of the 2010/11 season . In League 1 he always fought with his team to stay in class. At the end of the 2014/15 season , he finished only last with his club and had to relegate.
Achim left Ceahlăul and returned to FC Viitorul Constanța in his hometown. Half a year later he switched to league rival FC Voluntari . In the summer of 2016, record champions Steaua Bucharest (since April 2017 FCSB Bucharest ) signed him.
National team
Achim was appointed to his squad for the qualifying game for the 2016 European Championship against Greece by national coach Victor Pițurcă in early September 2014 . However, it was not used.
