Vladimír Bauer

Vladimír Bauer (born March 3, 1925 in Pilsen ) is a Czech stage and concert singer with a baritone voice .

Life

From 1956 Bauer was a member of the Janáček Theater in Brno . In 1959 he moved to the Komische Oper Berlin . He was best known for roles in the works of Jacques Offenbach , Giacomo Puccini and Giuseppe Verdi . In addition, he was also committed to the interpretation of contemporary works.
