Martín Ubaldi (born November 11, 1969 in Ramos Mejía , La Matanza , Gran Buenos Aires ) is a retired Argentine football player on the position of a striker .

career

Ubaldi began his professional career at the Argentine top club CA Independiente , with which he was under contract from 1987 to 1992 and with whom he won the Argentine football championship in the 1988/89 season.

In 1992 Ubaldi moved to the Mexican league , where he first played for Atlas Guadalajara . In 1995 he moved to the UANL Tigres , with whom he immediately won the Mexican Cup competition in the 1995/96 season , but was also relegated to the second division a few weeks later .

In order to continue to play first-class, Ubaldi moved to CF Atlante , which was then still based in the Mexican capital , with whom he was under contract until 1998. He then played for Puebla FC , the UNAM Pumas and most recently Toros Neza , who had recently been relegated to the second division and in whose ranks he ended his active career in 2001.

With the Argentine U-20 selection , Ubaldi took part in the 1989 World Youth Championship in Saudi Arabia . He played all four games the gauchos played in that tournament and scored one goal.
