Vladimir Beba Popović (* 1958 in Yugoslavia ) is the founder and managing director of the think tank organization Institute for Public Policy and former head of the communications office in the government of Zoran Đinđić .

Popović was born in Yugoslavia in 1958 . He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade . At the end of the 1980s he became the first director of the multinational advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather for the territory of Yugoslavia. After the introduction of the multi-party system in Serbia , Vladimir Popović took an active role in the political life of the opposition in Serbia and designed marketing campaigns for most of the parties of the opposition at the time. In 1994 he took up permanent cooperation with the Democratic Party (DS) and its chairman Zoran Đinđić. During this period, Popović was the manager of all political campaigns in which the DS took part, as well as the opposition alliances such as the coalitions Zajedno (Common), Savez za promene (Alliance for Change), etc. He was the campaign director of the DOS Alliance . After the democratic change, Popović came into the government and took part in the formation of the Prime Minister's cabinet. He then took over the formation and management of the Communications Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. He stayed in this position until mid-2003 when he returned to his company and the advertising business.

In 2004 he continued to support the civil sector in Serbia. He took part in the development of numerous projects, in particular with the Committee for Human Rights Yucom from Belgrade and Biljana Kovačević-Vučo. He provided active support for the bourgeois parties in Serbia and participated in the emergence of new liberal and democratic movements and parties. Since 2005 he has lived and worked in Vienna , London and Podgorica . He completed numerous specializations in political marketing, government administration, media, and media strategy application.
