Vladimir Dišljenković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Владимир Дишљенковић , Ukrainian Владімір Дішленкович Vladimir Dischlenkovytsch ; born July 2, 1981 in Belgrade ) is a Ukrainian football goalkeeper .

Career

Dišljenković began his career at Hajduk Belgrade. In 2001 he moved to his first big club and signed a contract with Red Star Belgrade . During his time at Red Star, he won the Serbian Cup twice (2002, 2004) and the Serbian Championship once (2004). In the championship year Dišljenković was also called up for the Serbian national football team .

He made his debut on March 31, 2004 in a friendly against Norway , with two more games to follow. He also took part in the 2004 U-21 European Football Championship in Germany , where he reached the final with the then Serbia-Montenegro. Dišljenković was used in two group games. He played with Red Star in the 2004/05 and 2003/04 UEFA Cup .

In January 2005 he moved to the Ukraine to Metalurh Donetsk . So far he has not been able to win a title in the league. Dišljenković is the regular goalkeeper of the Donetsk club . In 2010 he became a Ukrainian citizen and had to give up his Serbian citizenship according to Ukrainian law.
