Vladislav Hercegović Kosača

Vladislav Hercegović Kosača (* 1426 or 1427 ; † 1490 ) was the son of Stjepan Vukčić Kosača , Duke of Herzegovina .

biography

Vladislav got into several conflicts with his father, but made peace with him again. From 1453 he was often in the service of the Ottomans , Venetians and the Croatian-Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus , who in 1469 gave him the fortresses of large and small Kalnik (Veliki i Mali Kalnik) near Križevac . Hercegović-Kosača had a son named Balša. He lived on the Kalnik and was mentioned in 1510 . After his death, the family became impoverished.
