Grupo Vocento
Grupo Vocento is a Spanish media group based in Madrid . In addition to the national daily ABC and the Qué! the group of companies publishes the regional newspapers El Correo , El Diario Vasco , El Diario Montañés , La Verdad, Ideal, Hoy , Diario Sur , La Rioja, El Norte de Castilla , El Comercio , La Voz de Cádiz and Las Provincias (Valencia) ; some of these leaves can look back on over a hundred years of history. The daily circulation of the regional newspapers is 1.7 million copies, so Vocento reaches 5.5 million readers.
Furthermore, Vocento radio and television stations and internet portals belong. Vocento is also involved in the Spanish television broadcaster Telecinco .
The media group, which includes 120 companies, was created in 2001 through the merger of the El Correo and Prensa Española groups .
