Vodafone Türkiye (briefly Telsim Vodafone , before that Telsim Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. ) is the third largest mobile operator in Turkey after Turkcell and Türk Telekom .

The company, which was founded in May 1994 as Telsim, was the second largest mobile communications company in Turkey after Turkcell and before Avea . The company had about ten million customers, covering thus about 25% of the Turkish market from than in 2005 for 4.55 billion US dollars from the Vodafone Group was acquired. After the takeover, the company was temporarily called Telsim Vodafone until March 31, 2007. In 2011 the company Vodafone Türkiye had 17.5 million active customers and thus a market share of 28%.

On July 15, 2017, contract partners of Vodafone Türkiye received a personal video message from Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in relation to the attempted coup in Turkey in 2016 , which was widely criticized.
