The bird cherry is at 166.6  m above sea level. HN the highest point in the Feldberg lake landscape .

The "mountain" is located in a forest area two kilometers north of the village of Schlicht in the Feldberger Seenlandschaft municipality in the Lichtenberger Buchen forest area . The elevation lies in the Feldberger Hütte nature reserve . The hill is a terminal moraine from the Pomeranian phase of the Vistula Glaciation .
