history
Vok Dams was founded in 1962 by Volkwart (Vok) Dams in Wuppertal as a vd advertising photo ( photo and graphics studio).
In 1975 the company became a GmbH . Initially specialized in the production of audio-visual programs, the range of services was continuously expanded. The group of companies has become a full-service agency in the field of events and live communication. In 2005 the “Vok Dams Institute for Live Marketing” was founded, which has been part of “Vok Dams Consulting” since 2008.
Today Vok Dams is an international agency for events and live marketing . According to owner Colja Dams, around 150 employees work worldwide. The Vok Dams companies together had an annual turnover of 55.4 million euros in 2012 (certificate from their own tax advisor). It was the largest event agency in Germany. In the “Creative Index” of Advertising and Selling (W&V) in 2009, the agency was number two among the most creative event agencies and from 2001 to 2014 it was number one in the sales rankings of FAMAB , Horizont and W&V.
Vok Dams' customers include Commerzbank , Volkswagen , Daimler AG , Puma and Nespresso .
