Volker-Martin Müller
Volker-Martin Müller (* 1944 ) is a German ophthalmologist , medical professional and tradition representative and local politician.
Life
Volker-Martin Müller studied medicine at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf . Since 1971 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Burgundia (Leipzig) Düsseldorf in the CV . In 1973 he was with the work "Comparative studies on different fistulizing operations in glaucoma" to Dr. med. PhD . After completing his specialist training in ophthalmology , he set up his own practice as an ophthalmologist in Viersen in 1979 .
Since 1993 he has been chairman of the Viersen district office of the North Rhine Medical Association .
In 1999, Müller received the Federal Cross of Merit on the Ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his services in numerous and varied offices in medical self-administration, local politics and tradition. He was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia on April 22, 2009.
