Volker Böhning

Volker Böhning (born July 4, 1948 in Bollstedt ) is a German agricultural scientist, hunter and administrative officer. From 2004 to 2011 he was district administrator for the district of Uecker-Randow .

Life

Volker Böhning attended the Extended High School in Mühlhausen / Thuringia and studied from 1969 to 1973 at the Animal Production / Veterinary Medicine section of the Humboldt University in Berlin . He then completed a research study of animal production / animal husbandry at the Wilhelm Pieck University of Rostock , which he in 1976 with the Promotion A graduated. Then he was secretary of the cooperative association for slaughtered cattle production in Neubrandenburg until 1990. From 1990 to 1994 he was mayor of the Ferdinandshof community . Then he was the senior administrative officer of the Ferdinandshof office until 2002 .

The non-party Volker Böhning was a member of the district council of the Uecker-Randow district from 1999 to 2002. In 2002 he was elected as an alderman and second deputy of the district administrator. From August 1, 2004 to September 3, 2011, Volker Böhning was the district administrator of the district of Uecker-Randow , which became part of the new greater district of Western Pomerania-Greifswald as part of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania district reform in 2011 .

Volker Böhning has been President of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Hunting Association since 2002 and, since June 7, 2019, as successor to Hartwig Fischer , President of the German Hunting Association .
