Volker Ferkau
Volker Ferkau (* 1955 ) is a German author . He left Germany in 2013 and has lived in Spain ever since.
Life
Besides being a musician, employees of a marketing and advertising agency, Volker Ferkau dime novel published in Bastei ( midnight novel , Maddrax , Sternenfaust ) and dime novel and short stories in the wine-Verlag (Spuklicht, gaslight and Wisp ) under a pseudonym.
He began writing as a teenager and published stories in the weekend supplements of daily newspapers, some of which he illustrated himself. He wrote a paperback novel for Fabylon Verlag .
Since 2010, the novels of the series Volker Ferkaus Mythenland, conceived and written by Ferkau, have been appearing at long intervals . From May 4, 2010, the Murgon cycle appeared monthly . Each of the five novels comprised 384 pages. Since the end of April 2012, the Sharkan cycle , comprising eleven novels, has been published fortnightly , as booklet novels of 60 pages each. All Mythenland novels were published by Kelter-Verlag.

Volker Ferkau is a multi-instrumentalist ( guitar , harmonica , keyboard , drums ) and producer . Together with guitarist Fred Primas he recorded the CD Diablo Suite under the band name Baldhead in 1999 . The 30-minute title track combines prog rock with influences from Tangerine Dream , The Who and U2 . Ferkau released the CD Moon (solo) under the name Egghead in 2001 and the CD Hurt (with guest musicians) in 2005 . All CDs were also produced by him.
