Michael Marcus Thurner (* 12. May 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian science fiction - author .

Thurner made his Abitur ( Matura ) at a commercial academy and then studied English, geography and history for a few semesters to become a teacher, but remained without a degree. Various jobs at a security company, in a riding stable, as a waiter and salesman. For the Verlagsunion Pabel-Moewig Thurner has been writing magazine novels as a freelance writer for the Atlan series since 2002 and for Perry Rhodan since 2005 . In Bastei he published regularly since 2003 novels to comic series Maddrax . In 2009 his first independent novel ( Turils Reise ) appeared outside of the booklet series. It was translated into Polish in 2011.

He lives in Vienna with his wife and two children.
