Volker G. Schmitz

Volker G. Schmitz (born July 31, 1961 in Büderich ) is a German television presenter . He became known through the Friday Night News program .

Schmitz has been artistically active in a variety of ways , for example, he worked as a cabaret artist with "Jupp Der Wall meets Schmitz", "WordAid Schmitzering Nolden" and "DerSprichtSchmitz", painted, acted in theater (e.g. "Gatte grilled" 2005) and wrote texts, until he finally came to television as a speaker. For example, he gave his voice to RTL Saturday Night, Veronas Welt (RTL) and many WDR and ARTE programs, advertisements and image films.

He was a producer on the entertainment show Kochduell and worked for a long time on the Friday Night News until he left the format in 2004. He could still be seen on television as the presenter of the programs “Blattsalat” and “This is how the world tastes” on tv.gusto . Since 2006 he has been working again as a speaker, author and producer.
