Volker Münn
Volker Münn (born January 10, 1960 in Giessen ) is a former German professional footballer and today's coach .
Player career
Münn began his career as a professional soccer player in 1981 with the then second division club Hessen Kassel , for whom he scored eight goals in 151 games until 1986. He then moved to the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt , where he played 29 games in two seasons. The defender does not score during this time. He was also DFB Cup winner in 1988 with Eintracht , but he was not on the field in the final.

Coaching career
From 1996 to 1998 Münn acted as a player-coach at the Hessian national league club SC Gladenbach. From April 2005 to June 2007 Münn was the coach of the Hessian national league club VfB Marburg . Before that, he had looked after TSV Großen-Linden for seven years. In the 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 seasons he coached FC Turabdin / Babylon Pohlheim, which is based in the Giessen / Marburg group league. From June 2009 he was in the coaching bench at the group division Sportfreunde Blau-Gelb Marburg.
Münn celebrated his greatest success as a coach in 2015 when he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga and won the Hessen Cup with the 1st women's team from Eintracht Wetzlar .
