The Volksbank Dreieich eG is a German cooperative bank based in Dreieich ( Offenbach district , Hesse ). The business area in the Rhine-Main region extends from Egelsbach via Langen, Dreieich, Neu-Isenburg and Dietzenbach to Eppertshausen in the south of the business area.

Volksbank Dreieich is a universal bank with a branch structure. It has 13 branches and five self-service branches as well as four other locations in shopping centers. The history of Volksbank Dreieich begins with the establishment of the "Creditkasse - registered company with unlimited liability in Langen" in 1892. In 1920 the Creditkasse was renamed Langener Volksbank eGmbH. Various mergers with other cooperative banks such as

  • 1923 merger with Vereinssparkasse,
  • 1970 Merger with the cooperative banks in Dreieichenhain and Offenthal (founded in 1889),
  • 1990 Merger with the savings and credit bank in Dietzenbach (founded in 1868),
  • 1992 Merger with Volksbank Dreieich (founded in 1861). The bank is now called Volksbank Dreieich eG,
  • In 1995 the Genossenschaftsbank Götzenhain eG and Volksbank Dreieich eG merge,
  • In 2000 the merger with Volksbank Neu-Isenburg eG follows (founded in 1860),
  • In 2018, Volksbank Eppertshausen and Volksbank Dreieich merged.
