The Volksbank eG Minden was a cooperative bank in the East Westphalian town of Minden . Alongside the Volksbank Mindener Land, it was the smaller institute of two Volksbanks in the old district of Minden and was formerly part of the area of the city of Minden. With a balance sheet volume of 225 million euros, it was one of the smaller banks in the district.

In 2010 the Volksbank Eisbergen eG merged with the Volksbank Minden eG and thus the area of the Volksbank Minden went beyond the traditional area of the city of Minden for the first time. At the beginning of 2017, it was decided to merge with Volksbank Paderborn-Höxter-Detmold eG to form VerbundVolksbank OWL eG , which came into being with retroactive effect from January 1, 2017. The former Volksbank Minden will continue to be run as a Volksbank Minden branch of VerbundVolksbank OWL eG .
Branch area
The branch area included the area of the city of Minden. By expanding the branch area to the Eisbergen district of the city of Porta Westfalica , another part of the old district area was added to the south.
