history

In 1867 the Säckingen commercial bank was founded. In 1938 the merger with Volksbank Waldshut to form Volksbank Waldshut-Säckingen eGmbH. In 1950 Volksbank Säckingen eGmbH was founded. In 1971 the merger with Volksbank Wehr to form Volksbank Rhein-Wehra took place. In 2000 there was a merger with Raiffeisenbank Dogern-Laufenburg and Hotzenwaldbank eG.
