People's Party of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

The People's Party of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , or VPMV for short, was a small political party in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . In the local state parliament election on September 22, 2002 , it received 1,585 votes, which corresponded to 0.2%.

The party leader was Thomas Gens . Gens was a member of the DVU from 1998 to 2002 . He later became mayor of the island of Hiddensee and stood for the CDU as a direct candidate in the regional constituency of Rügen I in the 2011 state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
