Voodoo Press is an independent specialist publisher for horror literature , mystery , apocalypse, sci-fi, zombies and bizarro fiction.

history

The publishing house was founded in Austria by Michael Preissl in 2008 and has been based in Malta since 2014 . In 2010 the first translation appeared with Samhane by Daniel I. Russell. In 2011 the publisher started the series Bizarro Fiction, a genre that is still less well known in the German-speaking world. English titles have also been published by Voodoo Press since the end of 2015. So far over 60 German and 3 English books have been published. In May 2018, the publisher Michael Preissl announced that it would soon discontinue the publishing house.

program

In its program, the publisher attaches great importance to unabridged and faithfully translated books. The titles appear as paperbacks, limited special editions and eBook editions. In addition to best-selling authors such as Bentley Little, Ronald Malfi , Greg F. Gifune , Kealan Patrick Burke and many more, whose works are first published in Germany by Voodoo Press, newcomers are also promoted. All books are specifically set in the Fantastik and serve different genres. In spring 2016 the first collector's edition was published, a limited hardcover edition originally signed by the respective author, which is only available through the publisher.
