Until December 2006, Vordingborg Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then Storstrøms Amt in the south of the main Danish island of Zealand . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Vordingborg Municipality together with the former municipalities of Langebæk , Møn and Præstø .
