course

The Vorholzbach rises in the Rabenau district of Obernaundorf and flows as a village stream along the main road and later through the Veilchental to Eckersdorf and Hainsberg. In Hainsberg it flows east past the Hoffnungskirche and bends to the northeast about 100 meters later. There it flows up to its confluence with the Weißeritz (at the clubhouse of the Hainsberger Sports Club) on the left past the Johannes May Stadium. In the past, the stream had a course further along the rock, this was moved to the current position in order to enlarge the stadium.
