The barn master of Amun was an ancient Egyptian official title that has been documented since the New Kingdom .
The job of the barn master was to supply the Theban temples. He mainly supervised the deliveries to the Amun temple , such as B. slaves , foreign tributes , monthly incense rations or cattle and grain allocations .
In the 18th dynasty, the office of barn manager was carried out by the mayor of Thebes . Representations of the activities of the barn master can be found in the graves of Ineni ( TT81 ), Sennefer ( TT96 ) and Sauser.
