The Vrana Peak is a mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Prince Charles Mountains it rises immediately southwest of Mount Turnbull and 22 km southwest of Mount Starlight .
Aerial photographs and surveys by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions between 1955 and 1965 were used to map it. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after the radiation physicist Attila Vrana (* 1940) from Czechoslovakia , who worked at the Mawson Station in 1965, 1968 and 1972 .
