Nicolò Zaniolo (born July 2, 1999 in Massa ) is an Italian football player . The midfielder is under contract with AS Roma .

Career

societies

Zaniolo moved from the youth team at Fiorentina to Virtus Entella for the 2016/17 season . For the second division team , he played his first seven senior games at the age of 17. For the 2017/18 season he was signed by Inter Milan , for whose A youth team he scored 13 goals in 26 games. With the departure of Radja Nainggolan from AS Roma to Inter Milan, he took his position from Inter Milan. He played his first league game in Serie A on September 26, 2018 (6th matchday) in a 4-0 win in the home game against Frosinone Calcio .

National team

Zaniolo was first used in the U18 national team in 2016 . Another international match followed in 2017 . From 2017 to 2018 he played for the U19 national team , for which he scored six goals in 18 appearances.

On October 11, 2018 he made his debut under Luigi Di Biagio for the U21 national team , which lost 1-0 to Belgium in Udine .

In September 2018 Zaniolo was, although he at that time only seven second-division matches and still no match in the Serie A had graduated from coach Roberto Mancini for the games against Poland and Portugal as part of the UEFA Nations League for the Italian senior team nominated.
