Vukan Nemanjić ( Cyrillic Вукан Немањић , * around 1165; † 1208 ) was the eldest son of Stefan Nemanja and his wife Ana . Vukan was king of Zeta (1196–1208). By temporarily dismissing his brother Stefan II "the first crowned" he was temporarily also Grand Duke of Raszien (1202-1205), the heartland of Serbia. Her second brother, who later became Saint Sava of Serbia, mediated this conflict .

Vukan had three sons: Đorđe , Stefan and Dmitri , whose great-granddaughter Milica was the wife of Prince Lazar Hrebeljanović .

The Vukan Evangelist is named after him.
